We have lost our sweet Saffy
Sadly on Thursday morning. Saffy had another stroke. It was a bad one. We had to make that awful decision to let her go.

Happy Birthday Harry
Today we went to my son's house to celebrate Harry's second birthday.
He had a cake with handy manny tools on top.
We were treated to a brief show on his new keyboard. Perhaps he will be a musician like daddy. He was given a guitar as well.

Baby #3
Our new Grand daughter arrived. She is 3 weeks early.Managed to get to see her on Friday, she is tiny compared to the other two.Finally today my son told us they named her.She is to be called Natalie.That is a surprise, didnt think it would be their kind of name.Full of surprises..Anyway 3 of them now.:)

Our visitors from Utah
A week or so ago we had two visitors from Utah.
They love England it seems, and we love Utah Ha!!
Matt and Anmaree, you are clearly in love with London.
Matt, when you said you had taken a lot of pictures, I had no idea how many.
Anmaree, I am sorry you had to leave early.
But you left before the weather got really horrible.
You had the best of it.
Thanks for sharing your time with us, it was great to have you in our home.
We look forward to next time.

It's a girl
Just a quick catch up. We have a new Grand child expected in October.
We found out today, it is a little girl.
Unless she is early or late, she will be arriving on her big sister's Birthday.
The big sister is so excited, she so wanted a baby sister.
Harry is of course oblivious to it all, and will be barely 2 when the new little one arrives. Whereas his sister will be almost or just turned 5.
So now we play the waiting came, and wait with bated breath for the choice of name.
They will doubtless keep that a secret, no idea why...

Easter in the sun
So it has now been and gone. We had the hottest April day since 1949.
I wasnt born then, but this one was very warm for England in April.
Yesterday we had a bit less sun, but we managed to have dinner in the garden with the family. My head also managed to behave itself well enough for me to cook the dinner.
No migraine for once...
Jo did a great lemon dessert using a jello pudding. She was a bit disappointed, but we all loved it.
We set up the table, and by the time we were ready to eat, we had to carry the whole table etc down to the other end of the garden because the sun had moved around a lot and the spot we had the table in was a bit chilly.
I didnt get any pictures yesterday, but the kids were here Monday so here are one or two from then. Harry is growing fast, as they do....

i phone u phone
My generous family surprised me with an iphone for my Birthday last week.
I had no idea what I might want so they decided to get me one.
My old phone is beginning to crack up so it was a great idea.
No pictures of the phone, but couple of the Birthday.
Laura made a great cake with fresh cream, my favourite.
Really good.
Son, wife and kids came to share it. Harry has a super glued chin from a fall.

Today is my Birthday
I have no idea where the last 12 months went.
I don't seem to have done much with it.
So it is almost 1.30am and I should sleep.
I pray I wake without a migraine and can enjoy my family and
some really good cake Laura has baked me.
I will come back and let you know.
