True friends.

Back in September I tried to go up north to visit with my good friend Eleanor.
(She lives near Newcastle on Tyne).
I wanted so much to see her, she has parkinsons.
Well I just havent been well enough to travel 250 miles, so sadly couldnt do it.

I am so touched (people have telling me that for years).
She called on Monday and said she and her husband are going to drive down next Wednesday to see us.
They can only stay one night, and that is a long way to come.

No one does this sort of thing for me.  I am really pleased.
I have arranged for us all to go over to my sons so that she can see the "bairns."

What a trip!!!

(See not a mention of babies, well hardly).
